Janki Chatti- Offering A Memorable Experience
Janki Chatti is a little town situated on the way to Yamunotri. It is located at a distance of 8 kilometers from Hanuman Chatti and 5 kilometers from Yamunotri. Famous for different hot water springs, Janki Chatti sits at a height of 2650 m above sea level. Tourists seek a dip into the hot water springs as it is considered holy and sacred. Surrounded by large mountains on all sides, this place is known for offers relaxation and devotion. This place can be visited only between April and October after the snow has been cleared from the roads and the temperature is bearable.

Pilgrimage: Janki Chatti lies at a few kilometers from Yamunotri devoted to Goddess Yamuna. During winters, the idol of Goddess is moved to Kharsali from Yamunotri. It is only a kilometer far from Janki Chatti.
Janki Chatti is connected very well with roads to different cities of Uttarakhand. The nearest railway station from Janki Chatti is located at Rishikesh while the closest railway station is the Jolly Grant Airport of Dehradun.
